The Twin Cities Irish Fest is the flagship event of the historic Irish Fair of Minnesota (a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization) dedicated to promoting and celebrating Irish culture. Every second weekend of August, we invite everyone to join us on Harriet Island in St. Paul for a celebration of all things Irish with music, dance, family activities, and good craic!

Recognized as one of the most family-friendly events in the Twin Cities and one of the largest, most authentic Irish festivals nationwide, we are proud to be a gathering space where all are welcome. Whether you are a lifelong Minnesotan or traveling from afar, that international spirit of hospitality is a permanent part of who we are.

Our Mission

To promote and preserve Irish culture by creating exceptional experiences that bring people together from Minnesota and beyond in the spirit of joy and discovery.

Our Vision

The Twin Cities Irish Fest cultivates the heart and soul of Irish culture in the Twin Cities.

Our Core Values

  • Connection: We honor Irish culture and traditions with a spirit of joy, fostering a welcoming space for everyone.

  • Authenticity: We strive to represent the depth and breadth of Irish culture and heritage, ensuring an experience that is true to our roots.

  • Celebration: The people we bring together create connections to culture and to each other that can last a lifetime.

Powered by Community

Behind the music, the dancing, and the pints is a passionate, primarily volunteer-driven community. From the 600+ volunteers who generously donate their time on festival weekend to our year-round operating committees, our organization relies on the talent and energy of people throughout the state.

All proceeds from our events and donations are invested directly back into supporting this mission and our local Irish, Celtic, and immigrant communities. We are incredibly proud to be guided by a hardworking volunteer Board of Directors, alongside our Event and Office Managers, who work tirelessly to ensure the magic and longevity of this beloved tradition.

Growing up in an Irish household on the outskirts of London, Irish music and traditions were part of Danny’s upbringing. Whether it was playing the whistle or Irish Dancing, he embraced it all. Having volunteered at Irish Fest for past 10+ years and more recently overseeing the VIP Area as Area Manager, joining the board was the next logical step. You will find him listening to Gaelic Storm or anything Irish even during the Holidays. And perhaps on occasion, even with a pint in his hand.
